If you remember the mid 90's and you were into the electronica movement you'll probably remember the guitar peers in the shoegaze movement and the occasional crossovers between the scenes in the shape of remixes by Global Communications and Mu-ziq, as wel as bands like Seefeel, My Bloody Valentine etc. This secret garden album presents a new wave of 'shoegaze', all trance-like feedback, female vocals, layers and layers of drowned vocals and oceanic guitars. It's a fantastic compilation, very light and blissfull, mixing electronics more than the first wave, hence the presence of Ulrich Schnauss. The Quality is extremely high, sometimes a bit too faithful to the original idea. The bands include Kyte, Malory, Orange Yellow Red, 93 Million miles from the sun, Amusement Parks on Fire and others, on Geoff Barrow's Invada label.
