You probably know a bit about Brazilian and Cuban music but Peru? This collection of tracks is the only collection of Peruvian bands from the 60's and 70's, experimenting with foreign sounds and rhythms such as jazz, soul, funk, boogaloo and pop, while maintaining their own and unique Peruvian flavour. It's a really well put together 2 x cd set remastered from the original tapes with extensive liner notes. The tracks are surprisingly good stuff and awesome fun too.
