The Belly of the Whale was concived with the Greenmuseum.org, the idea was to create digital music from underwater sound samples of creatures such as whales, sperm whale, lobsters, shrimp and water, 350 sounds in all, remixed by artists such as Lapcore, David Rothenberg, Archive, Kim Cascone, Merzbow, Scanner, Stephen Vitiello, David Rothenberg and others. Needless to say, don't expect ambient whale music.
