This is a double album of the kind of tracks that were played in the Balearic Islands, when they were just about part of the hippie trail in the late 70's early 80's, and before it became the place of choice for kids to go on holiday and go clubbing in the Spanish sunshine. The tracks on this form the eclectic roots of dance music as it became automated and electronic. The tracks come from various sources, weird electronic disco like Louis, and Sylvester, to strange exotica soundtrack style disco and rare grooves like ' The Duke of Burlington'. Elikin and Nelson, to the kind of stuff the Cosmic Dj's played out in their sets, like choice idiosyncrasies in the catalogues of artists known for pop or A.O.R. like Joe Jackson, who's 'Zemio' appears here and original Tropicalia artist Jorge Ben. Of course all thee tracks are sequenced strictly with dance floor pleasure and interesting sounds in mind.
