    Terry Riley always seems to be the forgotten man of the little group of minimalist composers, even though he was the pioneer, maybe it's because he didn't spend the 80's and 90's doing film soundtracks or multimedia Operas and the like, trying to please the arts councils of the world and their snobbish audiences, and actually believed in music as something that can transcend. He stuck top his rather peaceful guns and high minded aims.

    Elision Fields has sought to make available these high quality reissues, this one is a live recording of Riley live with a solo organ. an ancient computer and modified delays and reel tapes, creating a beautiful web of Arabic influenced minimal organ music, with gentle delays and phasing, that relaxes you under it's undulating, shifting pulse.
