Rekid otherwise known as Radioslave is on a bit of a man of the moment tip right now, this one is on his own collectable label and it's a kind of sludgy but uplifting cut up of what sounds like Chicago disco replete with the kind of processed strings you'd hear on a boards of Canada track. Jesse Rose takes it and adds a big old square wave bassline, stiffens the whole thing up and adds a strange string melody that reminds me of the incidental music from early black and white films. It's a good ep with an unusual touch.
