DJ Pierre aka Photon Inc. was responsible for two strokes of genre-defining moments in house music. Most notoriously was his pioneering of manipulating Roland's 303 bass synth to create acid house. Secondly, was his creation of the 'Wild Pitch' sound - heavily modulated samples added to a generally 'druggier' house sound, first noted here with this classic in his early 90s club hit, 'Generate Power'.
