Excellent new release from Alex Under's Apnea label that's being hailed as an instant classic by the Kompakt crew. Musica Charlista is a collaborative project between label boss Under and Damian Schwartz where they're attempting to bring together the worlds of techno and jazz. Now this does sound quite horrific considering past excursions into this zone however this Spainish duo have got the balance spot on by applying slightly jazzed-up melodies and rhythms to their own distinctive minimal sound.
