    Stateside producer, Matty G, drops this long-playing debut for Argon that's cut and spread over three, 'system-friendly' vinyl plates.

    'Take You Back' has a distinctive sparseness to it's production, and also employs some unfathomably slow tempos; just listen to tracks such as 'Cuttin' n Scratchin'', the acidic 'Saddle Up' and try to imagine Loefah remixing Schooly D! The album, alongside these very useful 'soundsystem' friendly cuts, commissions the vocal talent of MCs Juakati and Luv Fayah to provide some 'conscious' lyrical content to Matty Gs unique rhythms.
