This first release on Laurie Appleblim's label Applepips recordings, sees Martyn, one of our favorite new dubstep producers, drop two superior tracks. What with Laurie's pedigree on the fantastic Skull Disco label, it's no surprise that this would be a top notch release.
'All I have is memories' is an upbeat track with warm Detroit chords dropped gently over 2 step style rhythms while dubbed out vocals and chords murmur gently in the background. 'Suburbia' on the other hand drops modulated, dubbed out waves of chords over huge bass and snappy drums to great effect. Can't wait for the next one!
