Alongside 99 Records labelmates, ESG, Liquid Liquid were one of the most exciting 'no-wave' bands to emerge from the infamous 'downtown' scene of New York late 70's/early 80's. This album contains some essentials for anyone interested in the whole post-punk/disco-not-disco sound of that era.

Domino records have done sterling job of reissuing this music. Gorgeous artwork is included by band member Richard McGuire, plus loads of great notes, photos, scans of rare gig flyers and sleeve art! If you have the early Mo' Wax compilation then this still will have some interest as it includes two previously unreleased exclusives!

The vinyl comes as a triple album, with each piece of vinyl in a slipcase with facsimile artwork of the original three 12" EPs. It also includes a glossy booklet of notes and photos and a free CD of the previously unreleased live tracks from 1980.
