La Horse is the brainchild of Ivan Smagghe and Danton Eeprom and between them have produced one of the most unusual (and fantastically titled!) house records of 2008.
'Cyanide and Happiness' is a strange, Talking Heads style, disco-not-disco groove with alien effects that sound like Eno has commissioned an elephant to provide vocals. Crossed with that, the only other comparison is golden-era Francois Kevorkian programming a 'dubbier' Arthur Russell. Flip it over and you have the Danton Eeprom remix - a more straight, but still rather eccentric, Berlin club friendly jam. A wild combination!
