Kieran Hebden and Steve Reid team-up again for this album of focussed tracks that builds on the excellent work they did for 'The Exchange Sessions'. This ten track set sees the veteran drummer Steve Reid (who's played with the likes of Sun Ra and Miles Davis) bashing at the skins and Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) playing everything else, from laptop noises to guitar loops and chords. This is strange, exciting and enjoyable stuff and highlights include a great cover of 'Greensleeves' and the fantastically Kosmiche 'The Sun Never Sets' which sounds like an update of classic riff heavy Krautrock. This is the ecstatic sound of generations and musical touchstones crossing.
