Chips For The Poor
LSD, Who Said That? (Invisible Spies)
Rock / Metal
Chips for the Poor is one of the members of the Invisible Spies, Toah Dynamic family along with Kid Acne, Supreme Vagabond Craftsman, be My Twin, 64 cousins and other daftly monikered fiends. The lead track LSD who said back is a bit good, absolutley battered headmessing lyrics set to filthy background beats, sounding like a mentally ill fall. 'The Transmitter that grew and grew' also sounds pretty battered, but in a punk-rock-recorded-for a pound sterling fashion, very amusing. I am warm in my coat brings futher pleasures, while Across the Car Park is a strange radio cut-up piece. Strange pleasures from the strangely talented.
