Boris step it up a notch on this limited taster for their forthcoming album, with new material that comes across as a kind of My Bloody Valentine meets Motorhead combination, Statement reminds of early MBV or some older psychedelia, esp with the male female vocal parts, but the guitar is much more thrashy aggressive and metal inspired, with a fierce 'old amp' warmth.

Floorshaker, well, this sounds like a modern day biker anthem, skuzzy and fast with a turbulent feedback flecked guitar sound, it's a noisy rocker. The ep sounds like a very promising taster for the next album.
