Angel is the trio of Ilpo Väisänen from Pan sonic, Hildur Guðnadóttir from Lost In Hildurness and sometime collaborator with Sigur Ros and Dirk Dresselhaus from Schneider TM. 'Kalmukia’ is a vast epic, with sprawling doom-like guitar riffs, deep drone-like electronic canyons all with a feeling that conjures up epic, cold scenery. It's basically an album that couldn't have come from the three players on their own but only as a trio, even if it still retains the audio signatures they have become known for. Packaged in a sleeve which is basically a notebook with drawings diagrams and images.
