Matmos go analogue for this new album and it's ace. The album isn't made in the 'analord' sense but somewhere between the experiments of 1960's moog pioneers like Dick Hyman and Jean Jaques Perrey and their own i.d.m. glitch with Matmos and the Soft Pink Truth.

Just in time for the summer comes Quiet Village's Silent Movie. Quiet Village are the guys who also do the excellent Rekids releases, but Quiet Village is a much more easy listening proposal.

The music here contrasts between tastefulness and more ersatz elements, hints of Chris Rea, mainstream disco or early 80's Balearic pop mix it up nicely with woozy strings, techno fxs and cinematic drama.
